Jimmy Atkinson is Senior Vice President and General Manager of Automotive and Recreational Vehicle Services for Assurant Solutions. Previously, Jimmy was Vice President, Sales and Marketing, responsible for all sales, account development and training on the direct sales side of the business. Prior to joining Assurant, Jimmy worked five years as a speaker and trainer on sales and leadership. Before that, he worked eight years with MSDiversified Corporation, a company acquired by Assurant and the core backbone of the current Vehicle Service Contracts business. Jimmy is an eight-time speaker at the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) convention and has spoken at RVDA and the F&I Conference in addition to many State Association and 20 Group meetings. Jimmy is recognized as a leading expert on improving performance in dealership operations and is a frequent author of articles in leading industry publications.
