Assurant Automotive and Recreational Services is a business unit of specialty risk management provider Assurant Group. We help our clients grow revenue while helping consumers protect their investment.

Working from our standard portfolio or developing customized solutions, we partner with business-to-consumer companies to offer a suite of vehicle service contract (VSC) and credit insurance programs for new and pre-owned automobiles, recreational vehicles, watercraft, motorcycles, and all terrain vehicles.

• Our history. Assurant Group has been delivering tailor-made solutions to the automotive and recreational industries for 30 years beginning with predecessor-company MS Diversified in 1973 and later United Services Protection (USP) Corporation and American Bankers Insurance Group (ABIG). Assurant was created in 1999 when Fortis, Inc. acquired ABIG and merged its operations with Atlanta-based American Security Group (ASG). The Group’s combined experience in the specialty insurance industry exceeds 110 years.
